Teaching

Summary

I am strongly motivated by a desire to inspire and motivate students and work very hard to promote interaction and engagement.

I have been lecturing since 2008 and until 2014 taught journalism theory and practice and new media. At Bournemouth University (2014 onwards) I teach across a spectrum of degree programmes in politics, advertising, public relations and marketing communications. I am a firm advocate and practitioner of pedagogies of social justice, committed to inclusive teaching practice and I design teaching that promotes social change.
