North south divide extends to obesity

According to a recent poll, people “up North” not only have greater levels of poverty than people in the south, they also have greater levels of obesity too. A survey on obesity and weight loss revealed that people in the East Midlands are the fattest in the UK, with an average BMI of 28.9.
